The Association of Scotland’s Self-Caterers (ASSC) aims to help all self-caterers make 2013 a winning year for their business. Our 2012 conference focussed on wildlife tourism in Scotland and how to use it in successful marketing. Participants found out what outdoor holidaymakers are looking for in accommodation, and heard how other go-ahead self-caterers have used social media to grow their business.
Our impressive line-up of speakers included Muriel Gray, well-known journalist and broadcaster, along with speakers from VisitScotland, WildScotland, and Brilliant Red Consulting.
This year’s conference gave delegates a greater understanding of the forthcoming Year of Natural Scotland 2013, what it means for the self-catering industry and how to make the most of the opportunities it will bring.
