Membership with Marketing

All Members benefit from the full range of advice, industry representation, events and networking opportunities, supplier discounts, access to the ASSC members’ website and support from industry experts. 

Membership with Marketing includes all the benefits of Membership plus additional marketing services (marked * in the Top Ten Benefits):

• Property Page on the highly promoted EmbraceScotland website
• Line entry and advertising opportunities in the annual printed Directory
• Extensive advertising campaigns
• Use of the ASSC and EmbraceScotland logos in your own advertising

Membership with Marketing is available for a subscription which begins at £120 for owners with just one property, rising at £7 per unit operated, up to a maximum of £350 (all exclusive of VAT).  Click here for a 'ready reckoner' table.

Our Constitution requires that Membership with Marketing is only available to owners whose properties have achieved a Quality Assurance grading to the UK ‘common standard’ , such as that run by VisitScotland.

Members save on VisitScotland QA rates:

• Joining fee waived completely - saving £83 + VAT based on two or more units
• 30% discount on annual fees - as part of new biannual inspections arrangement for ASSC members

   50% Discount on annual fees!

Membership

Membership without the marketing benefits starts at a very modest fixed subscription rate of £60+VAT per year. Ordinary Memebrs still get the full range of advice, industry representation, events and networking opportunities, supplier discounts, access to the ASSC members’ website and support from industry experts.

Agency

Agency Membership is available to businesses which manage self-catering properties for other people but who are still able to offer a direct and personal service.  Please contact the Secretary for further details on Agency Membership.

 

Subscription Year

The subscription year runs from 1st February to 31st January.  However, you can join at any time of year and enjoy the following special deals:

After 1st May: 25% discount
After 1st August: 50% discount
After 1st November: 3 months FREE (join for 15 months, pay for 12)
