£30k per year, full time.

We are seeking a proactive, self-motivated professional to lead the only trade association working exclusively for self-catering in Scotland.  We believe we have:

You must have excellent skills, experience and drive in communications, marketing, membership recruitment and customer services for this key role contributing to the future of Scottish tourism.

It is anticipated that with the appointment of a new Chief Executive the duties and responsibilities of the members of the existing team will be reviewed and reorganised.  This is a rare opportunity to bring your own imagination to shaping and developing a leading role in one of Scotland’s key industries.

The Chief Executive Role

This is a new role for the ASSC, which represents a significant development of the current staff structure.

The Chief Executive will serve as the chief staff member accountable to the Chair and the Executive Committee. He or she will have full authority and responsibility for managing the Association, its offices, its staff, and all its programmes, within the guidelines established by the Committee.  She or he will be responsible for all business development, membership recruitment, administrative and strategic functions outlined in the Job Specification, as well as all other duties required to support the successful growth and development of the Association.
