“Following yesterday’s announcement by the Scottish Government, we were advised that the rule of six, from no more than two households and not including children under 12, is allowed within self-catering accommodation. We are awaiting the publication of these guidelines and will update our advice should there be any changes to this.” (23rd September 2020)
This is the latest information we have available.
We continue to work behind the scenes to understand the position that the Scottish Government are taking on this.
We would like to advise the sector, and guests due to stay in self-catering properties in the near future, so please bear with us while we work through this issue. We will provide more clarity on the situation as and when we have a definitive update from the Scottish Government.
Further updates will be issued via the ASSC Website, News Page HERE
and across our social media channels and of course by email updates.
We cannot give you any more detail at this moment, but we will, of course update as soon as we possibly can.
Thank you for understanding.
