We’ve been working really hard to make SuperControl more mobile-friendly and to improve the user experience; this is evidenced in our brand new customisable booking calendars and the multitude of mobile friendly SuperControl pages. Our clients are at the heart of everything we do, as a result we produce industry relevant content regularly – passing our expertise onto you. We have created a SuperControl Facebook community which is a fruitful community of SuperControl users and self-caterers. The community is a space to share SuperControl tips, industry knowledge and gain exclusive insights into what SuperControl is set to release. We’ve also been engaging more with the SuperControl community to seek your feedback to ensure the developments that are most important to you are prioritised. Meet the team………
Robert Kennedy, Product Director & Co-Founder
Robert has an entrepreneurial background, having taken on three family run holiday cottages near Kirkcudbright when he left university. He invested in the properties and built a website and marketing strategy to progress from agency-managed to a privately-managed business achieving 90% occupancy within three years. Robert went on to start SuperWebs web design and SEO agency in 1999 before launching SuperControl in 2007 to a UK holiday rentals market hungry for a specialist property management system. Today, SuperControl has more than 1,800 clients, including the owners and property managers of cottages, villas, caravan parks, glampsites, canal boats, yurts, campervans and more. SuperControl continues to grow and has gone from strength to strength. Involved in the holiday rental industry since 1998, Robert is a long-term committee member of the Association of Scotland’s Self-Caterers, industry engagement advisor to VisitScotland and an active participant in the Vacation Rental Managers Association and European Holiday Homes Association.
Mark Pearce, Client Care Director
Mark is a qualified industrial social worker and business owner experienced in property management and business sales. Mark champions the dynamic relationship between healthy business practice and empowered, engaged personnel; and the opportunity to continually improve, become more efficient, competitive and resilient in the marketplace.
Tom Billing, Client Advisor
Tom deals with the day to day support requests at SuperControl both via tickets and telephone calls. He also specialises in advising clients how to best integrate SuperControl with their websites and organizes the design-matching of the booking pages to match the clients own site design.
John Temke, Business Development Consultant
John has been a part of SuperControl and the self-catering industry for over 7 years. In his role of Business Development Consultant, introducing new clients to SuperControl, he has spoken to hundreds of accommodation providers; learning more about their business, their trials and their tribulations. From self-caterers and agencies to holiday parks and even house boats, he’s seen it all. Beyond welcoming new clients to SuperControl, he loves to answer questions and help owners get the most from their self-catering business.
