Fiona Campbell, Chief Executive of the Association of Scotland’s Self-Caterers together with Joanna Millar, Legal Director, Gilson Gray LLP provided an update on short-term let regulations across Scotland and specifically possible ramifications due to changes in the new SNP administration cabinet, together with an update on ongoing conversations with the Industry Advisory Group and the Scottish Government.
Fiona and Jo were joined by Fiona MacConnacher, Public Affairs Manager, UK & Ireland and Alan Bulloch, Market Team Manager, Edinburgh Office from Booking.com. They provided an overview on how they are supporting their partners with STL licensing; what partners will need to do to comply with licensing on the booking platform, as well as how Fiona is supporting members in her Public Affairs role.
