ASSC CEO, Fiona Campbell met with the Scottish Assessors Association this week to discuss the development of an on-line form for self-catering unit operators to complete via the Scottish Assessors Portal.
The aim is that the form can be completed with all the relevant information and evidence can be uploaded to show that a subject meets the criteria required to be deemed self-catering accommodation for rating purposes.
The form appears to be self-explanatory and easy to navigate, and will facilitate annual declarations, reducing admin for operators.
The ASSC will assist with testing the forms in advance of the anticipated ‘go-live’ date of 1st April 2024.
