For advice on how to make your photos stand out

Q How long will my listing take to update?
A Please allow an hour or more for the data to pull through. If you are not seeing the changes in your browser, empty your cache or open a new browser window in incognito mode to see a true up to date picture of the page.

Q How do I change the Descriptor on my Listing using Keywords?
A This is the line that sits below the name of the property. This is not SEO keywords, but a secondary descriptor

Facilities: These will appear as the order in which they appear in the extranet – this cannot be amended. However, the ‘read more’ button offer the opportunity for users to inspect more facilities in more detail.

Contact Details: Primary phone number to be in the first telephone field. At present only one number will appear on the website, so make sure you most dominant line of contact is added in the primary section. Recommended to use +44(0) before your number.

Position of Call to actions: The website has been redesigned with the user experience in mind, as such the positions of buttons and placement of certain content is intrinsic to this. We will be monitoring over time the analytics of the website and engagement of user to the website to fully understand what is doing well and converting interest into bookings. As such for now, the position of buttons and call to actions will be left as is, until we see a need to change the website design.

SEO: We’ve had a few comments regarding the titles of some of the regions pages. With the website redesign, there was a dedicated study in to keyword research. As such in order to capture as many users and direct organic traffic to the website, keywords have been used to in headings, eg. Argyll Lodges. Whilst not all properties in Argyll will be ‘lodges’ this keyword will gather more traffic to the website and in turn convert more interest and bookings as a result.

Loved by Locals: We have redefined the use of the ‘Loved by Locals’ section on the website as we saw from the analytics and visits, these items were underused and not working as hard for members as they could. As such, Loved by Locals content will be now added into the Thoughts and Stories part of the website. These need to be submitted on the ASSC website as previously was done before.

Social Media at present, social media channels are not shown on Embrace front end. The aim of the website is to channel users direct to members sites. If this is something that members would like to look at in the future, we may be able to do so.

Images: We would recommend that the initial image that is used as your hero image on your property page and the property tile be 1024 x 768 pixels as a minimum. Make sure your subject is centred in the image. There are online cropping tools which can be used to adjust your images such as https://pixlr.com/x/ where you can crop and resize your images.
