A key role of the ASSC is to continually lobby, represent and support members of the ASSC, providing essential support to the self-catering sector in Scotland.
Just this week, ASSC CEO, Fiona Campbell has various scheduled meetings with key stakeholders, including Minister for Housing, Paul McLennan MSP and Minister for Small Business, Tourism, Innovation and Trade, Richard Lochhead MSP. There is also a meeting of the Industry Advisory Group. Fiona is representing the ASSC on the Scottish Government’s New Deal for Business Non-Domestic Rates and Business Partnership Sub Groups and the Rural Delivery Plan Group. These meetings are part of the ASSC’s proactive approach to engaging with influential individuals and bodies that relate to the challenges facing both the self-catering and tourism industry in Scotland. By maintaining regular communication and face-to-face discussions, strong relationships are built and valuable insights from the self-catering sector can be shared, enabling the ASSC to continue ‘the fight’ on behalf of the many vulnerable self-catering businesses across Scotland. In our ongoing efforts to gather valuable evidence on the challenges faced by our sector, we invite you to participate in this IMPORTANT survey.
The evidence collated in this survey will play a crucial role in informing discussions planned with with key stakeholders and the Scottish Government, scheduled for later this week.
The survey is now closed.
Thank you for your participation and valuable input. Together, we can shape a better future for the self-catering sector.
