We are delighted to share that two official motions have been lodged and received cross-party support in Scottish Parliament congratulating Fiona Campbell MBE, Chief Executive of the Association of Scotland’s Self-Caterers (ASSC), on being named a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in The King’s Birthday Honours List 2025.
The first motion, submitted by Alexander Stewart MSP, recognises Fiona’s tireless and dedicated work in supporting Scotland’s self-catering sector and the wider tourism industry. It has received cross-party backing from 28 MSPs across five political parties.

The second motion, lodged by Dr Pam Gosal MBE MSP, highlights Fiona’s leadership since becoming ASSC’s first Chief Executive in 2015, her work throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and her ongoing commitment to creating a sustainable, inclusive future for Scottish tourism. This motion has been supported by 18 MSPs from three political parties.
