Traveltech is looking for accommodation providers to take part in an AI technology trial

Traveltech is looking for accommodation providers who would be interested in taking part in an AI technology trial. This is part of the Tay Cities Testbed Programme.

They are looking for:

  • Self-catering accommodation providers (with multiple properties)
  • Self-catering accommodation management companies
  • Serviced accommodation providers

This programme allows businesses to implement cutting-edge AI chatbot technology, developed by two leading tech companies, at no cost. The AI chatbots will handle guest inquiries, provide local recommendations, and escalate complex issues to staff when necessary.

Benefits for participating businesses include:

  • Significant time savings (one trial saved over 3000 minutes of communications in just 2.5 months)
  • Improved guest experience with 24/7 instant responses
  • High accuracy (96% in previous trials)
  • Quick setup (just a 30-minute phone call and sharing of existing FAQs)
  • Freeing up staff to focus on more complex guest needs

One of their tech partners, Kalab, has already seen impressive results: their AI chatbot, Anna, answered over 600 questions across 35 units in 2.5 months, with 96% accuracy.

Traveltech is looking for businesses eager to be at the forefront of hospitality technology. The trial will run ASAP to October this year and participants will receive full support throughout.

If you are interested or if you know of any businesses that might be interested, please forward this information to them and / or contact Joshua.ryan-saha@ei.ed.ac.uk
