We are delighted to announce that the ASSC has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Best Social Media Campaign category at the EMEA Summit Client Awards 2025 for our EmbraceScotland campaign, Home is Everywhere in Scotland.
Launched last winter, the campaign set out to showcase the warmth, flexibility, and authenticity of Scotland’s self-catering sector during the quieter season. By celebrating the idea that “home” can be found all around you in Scotland – whether it’s by a crackling fire, in a local bakery, or through the welcome of a small community – the campaign inspired visitors to choose direct self-catering bookings and explore Scotland in a more sustainable, meaningful way.
Delivered entirely organically across Instagram, Facebook, X, and the EmbraceScotland website, the campaign combined storytelling from our members, interactive content, and inspiring blogs with a strong sense of place and seasonality. It was designed to support operators, local businesses, and communities by encouraging last-minute breaks and forward bookings during the winter months.
Our entry stood out to the judges for its innovation, impact, and excellence, and being selected as a finalist is a fantastic recognition of the work we’ve achieved together.
The winners will be announced at the EMEA Summit Awards Ceremony in Brighton on 1st October 2025, where leading destinations from across Europe will come together to celebrate the very best in digital marketing.
This recognition is not only a proud moment for the ASSC team, but also for our marketing members, whose stories, imagery, and contributions brought Home is Everywhere in Scotland to life. Together, we’ve shown the strength of Scotland’s self-catering sector.
