We have some exciting news to share that fills us with immense pride and joy. Our very own Fiona Campbell, CEO of the Association of Scotland’s Self-Caterers (ASSC), has been awarded the prestigious title of ‘CEO of the Year’ at the Scottish Women’sĀ Awards 2023 this past Saturday.
Fiona Campbell, CEO of the Association of Scotlandās Self-Caterers, said:
āTo be simply nominated was a privilege, but I am ecstatic to be named āCEO of the Yearā at the Scottish Womenās Awards. It is an honour to have been recognised in what has been a challenging year for the self-catering sector.
Ā I am proud to represent an industry in which 70% of those working within it are women. They are absolutely dedicated to maintaining and enhancing Scotlandās position as a leading visitor destination and work tirelessly against the odds ā I am both inspired and amazed at what they do, day in day out.
Ā On behalf of the ASSC, I would like to thank the organisers and offer myĀ congratulationsĀ to all those who have been recognised for their efforts.ā
Adrienne Carmichael, Chair of the ASSC, commented:
āFiona thoroughly deserves this recognition for her steadfast determination and resilience in advocating for, and representing, the Ā£1bn self-catering industry. Our sector has endured so much in recent times but Fionaās leadership is steering us through difficult times and hopefully towards a brighter future. All of the ASSC Board warmly congratulate her for this prestigious award and she should be very proud of her efforts.ā
