We are The ASSC (Association of Scotland’s Self Caterers) and are looking to recruit a Full-Time Membership & Finance Assistant to join our team. The ASSC is the leading organisation representing the Self-Catering sector in Scotland and due to our success in increasing our membership we are now looking to recruit an experienced Membership & Finance Assistant to join our established team to manage our members and the finance associated with them.
You would be part of a team that provides the Self Catering sector with leadership and guidance, along with business support and marketing to empower our diverse and professional membership, enabling them to deliver exceptional experiences to their guests
You will be part of a small team who work in collaboration with Scottish Government, Local Authorities and other trade bodies to support their members by lobbying, writing and communicating guidelines and regulations and updating on legislation and hosting events and providing marketing material to their current 1700+ members and potential members.
Your role would consist of 2 parts Memberships and Finance:
You will also need to be organised and able to prioritise and pre-plan while reacting to interruptions and multi-tasking and at all times ensuring you are meticulous with recording information and delivering excellent written and verbal communications.
The ASSC in return would provide you with an excellent salary of £22,000 to £25,000 dependent on experience and benefits package including excellent holiday allowance, pension, training & development and monthly working from home allowance.
You will be working from home, meeting once a month in Glasgow.
